This is our sweet, little Giselle. We got her for our daughters and our other dog, Meeko, who were heavily grieving the loss of our golden Penny, who was battling cancer and unfortunately had to cross the rainbow bridge.

In the two short weeks we've had Giselle, she has found herself in the emergency vet three times fighting pneumonia. After today's visit, we got a diagnosis no one wants to hear, especially with their brand new puppy. She has an aortic branch wrapped around her esophagus, which is causing her to aspirate any time she eats and drinks. She also has PDA, which causes abnormal blood flow in her heart.

After some large bills for our past dog's cancer treatments and our rising bills with Giselle, we will now face the unknown with a new cardiologist at Tufts, surgery, and medication to help her survive. Without intervention, we may only have up to a year to love her. Anything will help as we move forward to some more answers. Thank you ❤️
