Back in 2017 beautiful Giselle found herself in a high kill shelter in North Carolina. She was saved by Buffalo Cares Animal Rescue where she was able to find her perfect forever home. This is what her family wrote about Giselle:
Giselle is our daughters best friend and our cuddle buddy. Giselle is a wonderful dog who loves everyone she meets, unfortunately she has a tough battle ahead of her. In September of 2019, Giselle was diagnosed with a stage 2 soft tissue sarcoma by her vet at East Ridge Animal Hospital. Her vet recommended us to take her to an oncologist at Cornell University hospital for animals. On Oct 16, Dr. Sylvester and the oncall surgeon recommended that she has a CT scan. This is scheduled for on Nov 4th to view the extent of the mass and to see if it has spread to any other part of her body. If the cancer has not spread, Cornell will surgically remove the mass on Nov 7th. Giselle will have to stay for at least one night post surgical for observation and will be missed dearly. We would appreciate any assistance you can give us. Please hug your furbabies. Keep us in your prayers and God bless you all from Scott, Liz and Kayla!
