Since March 24th, our mom has been hospitalized due to severe infections affecting her brain, heart, lungs, spine and blood. She is currently receiving treatment at UCSD Hillcrest Medical Center in San Diego, far from our home in West Covina.
Our mom is a single mother raising three children, and this has been the hardest battle our family has ever faced. Although she has slowly been improving day by day, the recovery process has been extremely difficult. The infections left behind four severe wounds that now require surgeries and treatment every 2–3 days. She has also developed blood clots in her legs that have restricted blood flow, and doctors have warned us that she is at high risk of amputation.
Despite everything, we are incredibly grateful that she is alive, awake, and continuing to fight.
As our family stays by her side, the financial burden has become overwhelming. Donations will help cover transportation between Covina and San Diego, surgeries, medications, hospital expenses, and temporary housing during her recovery.
Any donation, prayer, or share means the world to our family. Thank you for taking the time to read our story and support our mom during this difficult time.
