On 02/03/2020 Giovanna went to the immediate care to be seen about what she thought was a cold. When she arrived they hooked her up to oxygen to help her with her breathing. She was then transferred to the hospital in Huntley to be treated for pneumonia. The doctors found she had fluid in her lungs and her oxygen levels were dangerously low. They decided it would be best to put her into a medically induced coma to help her breath and take care of the pneumonia. While being sedated her kidneys started to become weak and needed dialysis. She is still sedated and could potentially be under for 1-3 weeks. 

Giovanna doesn’t have insurance and with everything she has going on the medical bills will surely be rising very quickly. We are asking if anyone has something they can give to please help, anything is so much appreciated.
