Help Giorgi Run With His New Pack

Giorgi is a sweet, loving, playful & smart young man who had a very rough start to life; loosing both his forelegs to traumatic amputation! After waiting 10 months, his dreams for a second chance came true, but he needs help to achieve his dreams of running with his pack! Can you help him achieve his dreams of independence?

Giorgi travelled from Tsibili in the Country of Georgia for a second chance. He was found on the streets as the only surviving puppy in the litter, loosing both his front legs to traumatic amputation by children. Against all odds, he survived, but he couldn't get the care he needed in Georgia. With no other options and an opportunity to get his freedom flight, Giorgi took the long journey by air and car to Canada.

Giorgi arrived with nothing and requires expensive medical mobility assistive devices to help him regain his freedom, independence and ability to “dog” and keep up with his sisters. He also has a couple Wish Lists of things he needs to help him settle in and not borrow from his sisters.

Most importantly, we in the process of fitting him for “running” prosthetics & a front wheelchair. These must be custom made for Giorgi and are very expensive to purchase and maintain. He also requires medical care to manage skin lesions from his hopping and sliding around as well as he will require lifelong medications and supportive therapies to keep him mobile and pain free. We are also hoping to get him into training classes once he has his mobility aids so he can learn to be a great canine citizen and well mannered boy!
