My mom is disabled and has Alzheimer's, exasperated by encephalitis, and suffers from severe cognitive impairmen, that requires full-time care. It's pitiful, and happened/ escalated so quickly, there was no time to prepare. My mom is such a good person who has worked hard all her life, and has always helped others. She's only 67, so it's heartbreaking and a lot of responsibility, since my dad is fresh out of the ICU for CHF and diabetic complications... Please help me afford medical needs and the cost of making her living space safe and ADA friendly.

I've gone back and forth on asking for help, but being the only child of two critically ill parents is not for the weary. I feel like I have the weight of the world on my shoulders.

So, I'm asking with the hope that this will be shared and that some people will find it in their hearts to contribute as we navigate through this difficult and devastating process.
