Jim went to the ER on Friday for a sore on his foot. Turns out the sore was the smallest part of the problem. He was rushed into emergency surgery to clean up the sepsis and flesh eating bacteria. The surgery went well and they didn't need to amputate any part of his foot or leg. He had multiple fractures in his foot which caused the infections. He has multiple surgeries ahead. We will know more next week. I'm asking for donations to help me with rent, food and transportation while Jim is recovering.

We're 7 weeks into Jim's 9 month recovery. I've raised my goal., and realize I need more as we navigate this recovery. Jim hasn't qualified for any short term disability or disability benefits.
