NEW ORLEANS SAINTS TED GINN JR TO MATCH EVERY DOLLAR DONATED TO GET GINN ELITE TEAMS TO POP WARNER'S NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP IN FLORIDA!
Ginn Elite Sports was founded in 2017 by 13-year, NFL player and New Orleans Saints Wide Receiver, Ted Ginn Jr. The Cleveland-based sports program was designed to provide young athletes the opportunity to develop skills, learn life lessons, and enjoy the sport of football and cheerleading. Our community-based program builds confidence, instills values, encourages moral character, develops self-discipline, and cultivates a strong work ethic.
While we make every effort to fundraise throughout the year, the cost to operate our program is substantially higher than our neighboring teams. We are currently the only sanctioned Pop Warner team in Ohio, which requires that we travel out of state for all away competitions. To keep costs to a minimum, and ensure the program is affordable, much of our funding is handled privately.
Recently, our football team returned from Michigan City, Illinois where they defended their title to take home the regional championship for the third consecutive year, and our cheer team returned from DeKalb, Illinois where they won the title of Northern Indiana Regional Champions. These wins allowed us to advance to Pop Warner's Super Bowl and Cheer National Championship in Orlando taking place on December 7-14.
The trip is estimated to cost the team $75,000 between Pop Warner dues, hotel stays, meals, equipment, etc. As such, we are currently seeking donations of any denomination to help offset costs. Each dollar you donate to us between now and then will be matched dollar for dollar by our founder Ted Ginn Jr.
