Help Ginkgo to Run and Play Again!

Eight years ago, a year after my grandfather died, I wanted to add a puppy companion to my life and my family. I was feeling lost and sad without my grandfather and wanted to be grounded. My boyfriend at the time (Simon) and I researched for months all the different breeds we could get, but then we found Ginkgo.
She was little mutt that was scruffy and scared of everything because she was in a cage for the first four months of her life. As soon as we got to meet her, she curled up in my lap and has been with me ever since. She loves everyone and everything, she doesn't know how to bark, she's hypoallergenic so even those with allergies can love and hug her. She's perfect and now she needs your help.
Ginkgo tore her ACL and has been walking with a limp. She can't run or jump because it risks injury. Without surgery, we'll have to watch her limp get worse and worse as she ages. Ginkgo is so playful she's still mistaken for a puppy at the dog park. I can't imagine depriving her of being able to do all the things she loves and watching her deteriorate.
As some may know, I'm studying education right now to get my teacher's license and go back to teach up north in Waswanipi. I have a lot of expenses and work two jobs while applying for funding for school to cover my tuition, student loans, rent and bills. It hurts me to not have the money to help her, but I'm hoping you can help.
The surgery that Ginkgo needs costs 4200$ and would heal her completely in 2 months. She would be able to go to the dog park, run, jump, and be herself again. I appreciate if you can donate even a little bit of money, it would help me make sure my mutt can run and play and be happy. Every little bit helps.
