Help Ginger's Collapsing Trachea
Donation protected
My dog, Ginger, has collapsing trachea and arthritis in her legs. We used to love going out for walks and exploring nature, but last summer (2024) her collapsing trachea got worse. She would cough, choke, and have a hard time breathing if she got too excited, walked too much, or got too hot. I bought a pet stroller to allow her to still go on walks if she got too tired or started her coughing/choking episodes. She struggles to sit in her stroller for too long because her legs hurt and shake from arthritis.
More recently, Ginger has been having a hard time breathing without even getting excited, walking too much, or doing anything strenuous. Her episodes start out of nowhere, even when she is resting. Her episodes last anywhere from 10 seconds to 10 minutes. When it's bad, she shakes and is scared because she can't breathe. She's been laying around a lot lately and doesn't want to do anything.
I am raising funds to get X-rays, blood work, and medication for Ginger so that she can continue to live comfortably. I am trying anything and everything to avoid economic euthanasia.
Thank you for any kind of donation, it all helps her.
