On Thursday July 24th, 2025, Gina passed away. She fought incredibly hard to stay here, but in the end, she was just too sick. Any details for services, flowers, donations, or memorials will be shared at a later date.

While I am trying to find another funding platform to negate the massive fees everyone is being charged, we will continue to use this gfm. Any updates about this will also be shared later on.

On the morning of Wednesday, July 2nd, Gina was complaining of leg pain. It got so bad that she woke her husband, Joe, to take her to the emergency room. What they initially hoped was just a pulled muscle or a sprain ended up being a very serious infection.

Gina's pain was uncontrollable, and they had to sedate her to give her proper care. She is now in a coma and on the ventilator. Today (7/3) Gina had surgery to remove infection. Unfortunately, it had already spread pretty far and they had to remove a large portion of her leg. Doctors are going to do further surgery tomorrow to see if they can see how far or if the infection has spread further. It is suspected the infection has already spread into her abdomen, and they are concerned it will spread into her blood.

The next hours and days will bring more information. Joe has been told to call in close family and friends as they aren't sure if Gina will be able to make it through this ordeal.

Any money donated will go directly to Gina's husband and daughter, to pay bills and cover travelling expenses, as well as building a safety net should things get worse.
