Hi, I’m Gina — and while I’ve always done my best to push through tough times, I’ve recently been hit with more than I can carry.
I’m currently recovering from my third miscarriage. I’ve been out of work for the past two weeks and recently learned I have a large mass on my ovary that now needs more testing and medical care. On top of that, doctors now suspect I may have Lupus, which could be one of the reasons I’ve struggled with pregnancy loss.
Lupus is an autoimmune disease — meaning the body’s immune system mistakenly attacks healthy tissues, causing widespread inflammation and complications that can impact everything from your joints to your organs. It also increases the risk of miscarriage. I’m waiting on more tests to confirm a diagnosis and hopefully get answers.
If you didn’t already know, I also live with POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) and MCS (Multiple Chemical Sensitivity) — two chronic conditions that make holding a full-time job extremely difficult. I’ve been doing what I can by working limited hours as a cleaner, but even that’s become harder. To make matters worse, my job just revoked the gas card that helped me afford travel to clients farther away — putting several of the jobs I do have at risk.
I’ve always done everything in my power to show up and push through. But right now, I’m struggling just to stay afloat and cover the basics.
If you’re able to help in any way, your support would go directly toward:
• Covering my mortgage and electric bills
• Buying groceries and daily essentials
• Affording gas so I can continue working
• Paying out-of-pocket medical costs and testing
If donating isn’t possible, simply sharing this helps more than you know. Thank you for reading, supporting, and standing by me during this incredibly hard time.
With deep gratitude,
Gina
