Help Gina, Matt, Maxx and Baby Harper

Earlier this month, Matt Radeff and Gina Havasi welcomed their daughter Harper to the world.  Tragically, Wednesday morning of last week Gina Havasi suffered a Major stroke. She was rushed to Metro Hospital and put in to critical care. She had emergency brain surgery to remove a clot roughly the size of a golf ball. The doctors also had to remove a piece of her skull to allow her brain to swell and to reduce pressure. She has made it past the first 48 hours which is critical. The doctors ran multiple tests including an EEG and an MRI to determine brain function and to see what damage was caused by the massive hemorrhage. The bleed did reach her brain stem and the doctors determined that there will be some damage. The stroke occurred on the right side of her brain, her non dominant side, so speech and her right side should not be effected much. Gina will be unconscious for about a month or so at this point. They have mostly good news but she is not out of the woods yet.  In about a week she will be transferred to an LTAC facility for further care.  The Radeff family needs us now and unfortunately in times like these costs rise and incomes stop. The total determination of what the costly medical care at this point is unknown and  Matt will be taking a leave from work to be by Gina’s side and to care for their children.  Please help how ever you can, anything and everything will make a difference to this wonderdul family.  Matt and Gina’s families are so greatful for the outpouring of support.  Please join us as we rally to lift up the Radeff and Havasi families through this difficult time.
