As you may or may not know, Gina was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) in June of 2024. She was to have a bone marrow transplant in November but contracted a fungal infection and is continuing to undergo treatment to eradicate the disease. Once the doctors confirm the infection is no longer present, we hope that she will then be able to move forward with the bone marrow transplant. Due to the length of time Gina has been away from work, her income has decreased and medical expenses not covered by insurance continue to increase.
