Help Gina DiMassa Cansino Recover After Eaton Fire

Hi friends and strangers,

My name is Fiona, and I live in Los Angeles with my family. I’m creating this fundraiser to help my incredible Aunt Gina get back on her feet. She lost her home and most all of her possessions to the Eaton Fire in Altadena. The funds will help cover unexpected costs during this scary and uncertain time. She had been in the home for 30 years, where she and my Uncle Ed raised my cousin, Ani. My Uncle composed music and operas in the home, and I have beautiful memories of all of us cousins, aunts and uncles gathering for family get-togethers in their beautiful home.

Gina stayed in the home after my uncle, her husband, passed in 2010 from cancer. She lost her partner, Tom, in 2023 to ALS. She has dealt with so much loss and grief. Gina is the kindest woman, and wouldn’t ask for help herself, so my family and I are asking on her behalf.
