Help Gina Longo Gigliotti and Family Rebuild After the Palisades Fire

When I think about salt-of-the-earth people, my dear friend Gina Longo Gigliotti and her large family immediately come to mind. My name is Kim Kridel, and I am a close friend of Gina’s. Gina grew up in Malibu and has spent her life giving back to this community that she loves so deeply.

As a lifelong Malibu resident, Gina has always been involved in the heart of this town. She’s served as the President of the Parent Guild at Our Lady of Malibu School, worked tirelessly as a dedicated realtor, and has been a consistent force for good in the community—always the first to lend a helping hand or organize support for those in need.

Now, Gina and her family need our help.

Her husband Bernie and their young son Leonardo—who we all lovingly call Leo—are among the many families who have lost everything in the Palisades fire. From cherished photo albums to the very place where Leo took his first steps, everything they held dear has been destroyed.

To make matters worse, the family is currently caring for Gina’s mother, who is in the hospital recovering from a stroke. Through all of this, Gina continues to exemplify strength and resilience, but the challenges they face are immense.

This is about more than just rebuilding a home. It’s about preserving the identity, heritage, and history of a family who has given so much of themselves to the Malibu community.

Now is our chance to return the love Gina has endlessly given.
