Help Gardner & Gina rebuild their home.

With a sad heart, and simultaneously a massive amount of hope and love, I am writing to you all for help; we need it. During this last week, as the CZU August Lightning Complex fire raged through the Santa Cruz Mountains, my family was one of the many that lost their home. They have been cultivating this land, stewarding it and bringing it so much life, life that the land instilled back into them, and quite literally fueled their hearts and greatest passion. Gardner and my mom have been putting their whole heart into this land since he bought it several years ago and together, they've continued to make it an incredibly special place, a total sanctuary in their care - home. They were surrounded by lush fruit trees, abundant food, a healthy and diverse wilderness, and fertile ground.
Together, they have been working so hard to create the life they've both dreamed of.
My mama and Gardner have both worked within the Santa Cruz community in so many ways over the years, and y'all know their fiercely passionate about what they do and work towards. Between raising a (big, crazy, loving) family, baking, gardening, running a small business, being involved in the community and holding so much love for their people and community, I am now asking for our community to come in and hold us strong and lovingly through this really, really tough time. 
The devastation felt throughout our community is beyond tangible, it's gripping all our heart strings and while there is still a lot of uncertainty of what's next, we are certainly in need of support.
Any contribution to helping my mama, Gina, and her sweetie, Gardner, get back to their dreams and help them rebuild their land and cultivate new life, is SO greatly appreciated. Thank you so, so very much!!!!
Anywhere and any which way that we can come together as a community and help each other is going to be important right now. Our hearts are strong, but we are stronger because of our community. I know our extended family in Santa Cruz and elsewhere, and all the beautiful people we've become close with over time, will lift us up and hold us close to the heart. I have so much hope for a new resilient chapter that is coming, and the change that is inevitable. 
We are all going to be okay.
