Hi, my name is Fatema and I am fundraising for beloved kitten Gimli my cat unfortunately needs to undergo surgery. I’ve taken my cat to the vet clinic and they’ve told me that my cat has a shunt. Let me tell you a little bit about what a shunt is , my baby boy Gimli on a day-to-day basis struggles to properly filter out toxins in his body through his liver which causes him to have drooling episodes. Let me tell you what these episodes look like he drools purposely and isn’t himself he stares into space and isn’t the happy kitten he is. This condition he has causes him to have neurological issues. It’s extremely painful to see. From day to day seeing him play around and then seeing him completely out of it and unaware of his surroundings is extremely disturbing.
