By now many of you have seen my Facebook posts asking for prayers while my husband, Gilberto, is in the hospital.

Gilberto has always been a kind hearted, and generous person. Gilberto spent his life loving his family, and his friends but no one more than our children. I have spent 20 years by his side and have been kept warm by his love each day.

This next step in our story is one he must take alone. The time has come to return all the love Gilberto put out into the world back to him so that he may take his journey in peace. Please continue your prayers during this heartbreaking time. Please pray for Gilberto, for our children, and for our family.

Unfortunately, medical bills and other expenses have begun to pile up and I am now asking for help. I am looking for donations toward ensuring Gilberto can be laid to rest with dignity and respect. Anything that can be shared is greatly appreciated it.
