Hello, my name is Gilbert Scott. I’m coming on here with a very heavy heart, mourning the loss of my 16-year-old son. He passed away on March 31st, 2026, due to complications from gun violence that happened in 2025 when he was just 15 years old. The individual responsible is now in prison, but my son fought hard and showed incredible strength throughout his journey. Despite being paralyzed, he remained energetic, loved fashion, and always set goals for himself, determined to live life to the fullest no matter his situation.

It hurts me deeply to see how hard he fought, but I find comfort knowing God doesn’t make mistakes and my son is now in a better place, free from suffering. He can celebrate his 17th birthday in heaven on May 31st. I am in a sad place mentally, and the pain is unbearable, but I am trying to give my son the proper homegoing he deserves. Your support means the world to me, and I am grateful for any help you can provide during this difficult time.
