Help Build a Library in Madagascar
Last summer, while in Madagascar, I had the privilege of meeting an extraordinary man named Gilbert. Words cannot fully capture the incredible person he is. His kindness, generosity, and dedication to others make the world a better place. Gilbert radiates joy, and I am convinced it comes from his deep commitment to helping people.
Gilbert lives in Bekopaka, a remote village in western Madagascar with a population of about 10,000 in the dry season. Like most of the villagers, he does not have electricity. Despite the challenges of daily life, he remains devoted to education and community development. During the rainy season, when he cannot work, Gilbert volunteers his time to teach local students while also continuing his own studies.
Now, he is working to fulfill a dream: building a library for the people of Bekopaka. A library would provide access to books, knowledge, and opportunities that could change lives for generations to come.
Let’s come together to support Gilbert in making this dream a reality. Every contribution, no matter how small, will help bring books, learning, and hope to Bekopaka.
Thank you for your generosity and for believing in the power of education!
