My name is Gilberto Valentin, but everyone knows me as Gil. In August, I suffered a heart attack that changed my life completely. My heart is now working at only 20%, and if it doesn't get better, I will need a pacemaker. Because of this, I haven't been able to return to work full-time. While I am receiving a little help from my local DHHR office, it isn't enough to cover all my expenses. I am so grateful for my Wardensville community, who have looked out for me during this difficult time, but I am still in trouble and need help.

Right now, I am struggling to pay my rent, car payments, car insurance, phone bill, and utility bills. I have been without a hot water boiler for a month, and I simply don't have the money to replace it. Thankfully, local food pantries have helped me with food, but I am falling behind on everything else. My life has been turned upside down, and I am reaching out for support from anyone who can help. I can provide proof of my situation, and anyone local knows my story is true.
