Hey everyone, I don't like doing this as it is hard to ask for help but my current situation is not leaving me much of a choice. My truck overheated, seized up, and it no longer runs. 

I need a pickup truck to haul around all of the metal I use for my business. Without one, I am left without transportation.

How did I get here?

I started up a business earlier this year after finishing up a successful Kickstarter run. One of the cornerstone pieces of equipment I needed for my business - a hydraulic press - was implied to be ready in February of this year. However, it was not ready until this past Tuesday.  I am vendor locked, meaning this vendor is the only one who makes the type of machine I need,  so going elsewhere to get this type of hydraulic press is not an option. The 8 month delay with getting the press has had me hemorrhaging money the entire time. While I had raised a good amount of money in my campaign, Kickstarter takes a 10% cut, Backerkit also takes a cut, and taxes owed amounted to around $30,000. 

Had the press been completed back in February, my business would be up and running and I likely would not have found myself in the position I'm in. Now it has become an either-or scenario. The hydraulic press or a vehicle.

I've found a few used trucks with the specifications I need in the $6,000-$8,000 range, and that is why I am hoping to raise at least $8,000.

It's difficult for me to ask for help, but if I don't get help soon it will be a cascading effect of not being able to get the press and then not being able to pay for rent for both the shop and the home because I'm not able to make my products.

It truly means the world to me.  Again, I feel awful for having to ask for help at this point, but I want to be able to come through for everyone who supported my Kickstarter and don't want to have everything fall apart because I don't have a vehicle.
