Hi, my name is Lexi, and I’m Gigi’s older sister.

My little sister Gigi just turned 17, and instead of celebrating her birthday the way she deserved, she spent it in the hospital due to a serious chronic illness. Watching her go through this has been incredibly hard on our whole family, but especially knowing how strong and positive she continues to be through it all.

Gigi is such an amazing person—she’s an honor roll student who truly loves school, and in her free time she loves baking and getting lost in a good book. She has the kindest heart and brings so much light into our lives. Seeing her in the hospital for weeks has been overwhelming, and we just want her home and healthy again.

My parents has been by her side every step of the way and has had to take a leave of absence from work to care for her. Being there for Gigi is the most important thing, but it has also created a financial strain for our family during an already difficult time.

I’m starting this to help support my parents and our family with basic living expenses and the loss of income while she takes care of Gigi and helps her recover. Anything you can give—or even just sharing this—means so much to us.
