Help Gigi to get back on her feet, please.

Helping a friend in need

My name is Naisa, I am coming here to ask for help for my friend Gigi. We met in a Bible study six years ago. Gigi got married when she was 16 years old. Her husband was older, and made sure he took care of EVERYTHING. She was completely dependent on him, and was never given the opportunity to think or act on her own. Two years ago, her husband and sole provider of 39 years, left her. She moved into a small mobile home in Montgomery, TX. From then on, her life has been spiraling down. She suffers from two autoimmune diseases ( Colites and Rheumatoid Arthritis), which were aggravated by the stress of the unexpected divorce. Today she requires frequent doctor visits, and an extremely expensive treatment with Remicade infusions (6-9times a year) for the Arthritis and Colites. To top it off in 7/2024 she almost lost one of her fingers due to an osteomyelitis infection related to the arthritis. The treatment with intravenous antibiotic will last six to twelve months. She had two surgeries.

At this point Gigi doesn’t have a car, therefore she relies on me for all her transportation needs: doctors and hospitals visits, pick up food from a church pantry, etc.

Her accumulated bills, robs her of sleep and peace.

Gigi is a faithful and, when her health permitted, a very hard working person. Unfortunately today, due to her health issues she is no longer able to work.
