Help Gigi Recover and Rebuild Her Life

Hi my name is Anaza Sinclair and my mom is Georgette most know her by Gigi. To tell u a lil about my mom. She is a mother of 6 she raise me and my siblings by herself. We are all grown now and want to give back to my mom in her time of need. My mom is the most silly, outgoing, funny individual you will come across. I don’t think she knows the definition of No or I CANT. My mom has been going through a lot since a shoulder injury she got a work Feb 25,2024.My mother has been off work since Aug of 2024 with no pay. The company she works for put her on medical leave with no pay until her shoulder is back to 100%.She has had to have 3 surgeries so far the most recent April 3,2025 a complete rotator cuff repair on her shoulder . Last year was 2 manipulations under anesthesia. 6 months of physical therapy and countless hours of physical therapy. This new surgery will have a 3 month possible total recovery time. And can’t go back to work until it’s 100%. She never been one to ask for anything from anyone but I’ve seen my happy go lucky mom turn into a sad, depressed mom and I don’t like that because that is not at all who she is. To put everything out in the open. My mom has to take care of my younger sister who is still at home. Without any income since Aug 2024. The company is a non subscriber to Texas workers comp and refuses to pay workers comp because mom decided to seek a second opinion from another doctor after her company sent her to their doctor and he told her nothing was wrong it was just a sprain and would heal on its on. Seeking a second opinion the company said it voided their contract and by law since they are a non subscriber they are not obligated to pay my mom workers comp. She can’t even file for temporary unemployment because when they contact the company they said that she is not unemployed she is on medical leave without pay due to a injury that hinders her from doing her job.my mother has lost pretty much everything. Her car was taken , she lost her apartment and had to move into a hotel temporary because no one will rent to her because she doesn’t have proof of income. Never in a million years i would think my mom would be in this situation. She has always worked and provided for us when we were young. She has been in the medical field for over 19 years . All she talk about is how much she misses working even though she is in the pain she is in her main concern is working at her current job , she is ready to be back to work but that’s not possible and hasn’t been possible.Working while sick or injured is not foreign to her because she just doesn’t stop. I come to you all to ask that you find it in your heart to help my mom even if it’s just a share of this Gofundme page. I want to be able to give my mom some since of normalcy in her life, Until she can get this shoulder taken care of .
