Hi I’m Brooke, I am Renay’s daughter and I’m here to tell you a bit about my momma, our Gigi. This woman has gone through many trials in this life and currently facing her biggest one yet. She was due for back surgery May 1st until her cardiologist did tests on her heart finding blockages in her arteries. She’s suffered with extremely high blood pressure for many years but now it’s gotten worse. Between her stage four osteoporosis at the age of 64 and her heart she has been suffering for quite some time. Her pain levels on a good day are about 6-7 and she’s constantly trying to keep her heart calm through the pain. She’s going to need more medical intervention for her heart before she can even fix her collapsing back. On top of her osteoporosis, she dealt with undiagnosed scoliosis for way too many years. Between the two, her back is slowly collapsing on itself making pain excruciating some days. My mom is not one to ever ask for help, she’s been this way since I can remember, so that’s why I’m here as her daughter to help her now in any way I can. Her medical expenses have been slowly building as they go further into her testings trying to get her right before her 12 hour back surgery just so she can make it off the table.

one thing I want to express about my momma is that this woman is a rock with many people. She would give you the shoes off her feet and coat off her back in the pouring rain and never ask anything in return or ask for help herself because “so many others have it worse than I.” . She’s helped so many people, and growing up she was THAT stay at home mom, PTA perfection, at every single performance and sport my brother and I had, and our house was the house on the block for all kids to flock to and be safe. I’ve NEVER met another woman like her. Her grandbabies are her LIFE besides her husband, 3 kids, and of course furbabies. Her health has been so rocky lately and I’d love to be able to raise this and more for that woman if I can because if someone deserves it in this world she does. She lives for her loved ones around her and she deserves many many many more years with her grandchildren without pain. So if you have it in your heart to donate towards her medical bills, I know it’ll help her so much. I don’t want her to have to worry about any of that, I just want her to focus on her healing and babies.
