Gigi is my 15-year-old little sister, and she has always been a fighter. She was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS), and over the years, she has also developed protein losing enteropathy (PLE) and fibrosis of the liver. Despite everything, Gigi has never given up. She faces each day with courage, but right now, she is in critical condition. The hospital near us cannot treat her because her body cannot keep enough protein to grow and prepare for a new heart. She needs both a heart and a liver transplant, and the only place that can help her is in Nashville, Tennessee. Our family must move there so she can get the treatment she needs to survive.

These funds will help us cover the costs of Gigi’s heart and liver transplants, make sure we have a roof over our heads, and allow us to support her every step of the way. We want to give her the best chance at life and help her achieve her dreams. Gigi wants to go to Japan when she’s older, she wants to cosplay, and she dreams of owning a farm one day. She is so full of hope, and we want to do everything we can to help her keep fighting.
