Help Gidget Come Home

About a week ago, our sweet little Gidget became quite sick. After having her hospitalized at my clinic for several days without no improvement, she had an abdominal ultrasound performed. At that time she was diagnosed with a stone obstructing her right ureter and causing urine to back up into her kidney. This is an emergency and can be fatal if not addressed quickly. I rushed her to Tufts, where they admitted her through the ER and recommend a procedure that would bypass her right ureter and hopefully allow her right kidney to heal. Initially she did ok, but then got significantly worse, and they believe that her left ureter is now blocked with a stone. This means performing the same surgery on her left side. It was going to be tight for us to pay for the first surgery, but unfortunately there is no way we can afford the second surgery without financial assistance. It would be a shame to have come this far and still lose our little girl, especially when she is only 6 years old. Please contribute whatever you can.
