3 weeks ago we adopted the sweetest mini-poodle puppy Gideon - nicknamed Giddy for her sunny personality and her love of people and playtime. Giddy is just 10 weeks old and already so full of life and spirit!

A week ago we learned that our sweet puppy has a congenital heart condition known as PDA (Patent Duct Artenosis) - if left untreated our sweet baby will enter heart failure and cross the rainbow bridge within a year.

We are determined to get Giddy the best care we can and not let finances stand in the way of a long happy life for our baby, and we need your help!

PDA surgeries have a 95% success rate with full recovery. This means after surgery we would be able to enjoy 15 long years with Giddy.

The surgery runs $5,000 plus a $1,000 surgical consult with labs and blood work. Any amount we raise above surgery costs will help support our pup’s safe travel from Brooklyn to Ithaca.
