Please Help Us Save a Sweet Stray

Meet Gibson! This sweet and loving boy desperately needs medical care and is asking for your help.

We don’t know his story because he just showed up at one of our large colonies, but we’re sure he has not had it easy. He is so sweet and despite having a difficult life on the streets, he greets people with love and has won the hearts of everyone who has met him. He still trusts humans and craves companionship, making it clear that he deserves a second chance at a safe and healthy life.

When we took him into our care, it was clear that he was seriously ill and injured and in need of urgent veterinary treatment. He was examined by a veterinarian yesterday and the cost of diagnostics, treatment, medications and ongoing care is more than our small group can afford. He has severe dental disease that will require surgery, bad skin condition, and an injured leg. He will also need all the routine care such as neutering, shots, flea treatment, worming, etc.

No animal should have to suffer simply because they have been let down by humans. This cat didn’t choose this, but he is fighting to get his second chance. Metro East Friends of Ferals wants to give him every opportunity to recover and experience the comfort and care that every animal deserves.
