Giannis is more than just a pet—he’s a cherished member of our family who brings endless joy, comfort, and love into our lives. He has the sweetest bulldog personality and a heart that’s happiest when he’s close to his people. With him only being 3 years old, we know there is so much more life for him to live!
Recently, Giannis suffered a sudden and severe injury to his right hind leg and was rushed to the VCA Janesville Emergency Hospital. X-rays revealed multiple serious fractures, including a spiral fracture of his tibia and a complete fracture of his fibula. The injuries were so severe and displaced that, despite heavy sedation and multiple attempts, the veterinary team was unable to properly realign the bones. Giannis is currently in a cast to stabilize his leg and help manage his pain. Unfortunately, there is a real risk that his leg may not heal correctly, which could result in permanent mobility issues or, in the worst case, amputation. His treatment plan includes ongoing casting, medications, pain management, follow-up visits, and the possibility of orthopedic surgery and rehabilitation. This emergency came unexpectedly, and we were not financially prepared for the level of care Giannis now needs. Every donation will go directly toward his medical treatment and recovery.
To our friends, family, and anyone who comes across Giannis’s story—thank you for taking the time to read and care. Asking for help is not easy, but Giannis means the world to us, and we want to give him every possible chance to heal and live a comfortable, happy life. Whether through donating or sharing, your support makes a meaningful difference. We are endlessly grateful for every bit of kindness, love, and support shown to Giannis during this time.
