HELP GIANNA WRESTLE AT FARGO NATIONALS

Hello everyone, I am creating this fundraiser to help raise money to send Gianna, my daughter, to Fargo, ND to compete in the nation's largest and most prestigious wrestling tournament.

Gianna is a sophomore at Yale High School. Gianna has been a trailblazer in Yale women's wrestling. She is the first girl in Yale's proud wrestling history to be a two-time MHSAA state placer. She is Yale's first girls' district champion, falling just short of being Yale's first girls' regional champion, taking second at MHSAA Girls Regionals. As far as we are aware, Gianna is Yale's first girl to ever qualify for Fargo. Gianna is also competing this summer on Team Michigan USA Wrestling National Dual Team. There are far more accomplishments for Gianna as a wrestler, but I just wanted to highlight a few.

Gianna has been working hard for many years to reach her goals of wrestling on a national stage. Gianna has big dreams of being an Olympic-level wrestler, and competing in this tournament will go a long way toward her goals of getting the national recognition needed to accomplish her goal. Furthermore, Gianna has a goal to wrestle in college. There will be college coaches from all over the nation, including top women's wrestling programs, that attend Fargo Nationals.

As you can imagine, it is very costly to wrestle at this tournament. Any funds raised will go to the registration costs, cost of travel, and lodging. Any money raised above our goal would go to help further her wrestling career via wrestling camps or other tournaments she may enter.

Normally, I would not ask for donations, but since I am a disabled veteran and my wife is my legal caregiver, we are on a strict and limited budget. We also have three other children besides Gianna.
