Hi,

My name is Barbara. I am starting a GoFundMe for my granddaughter Gianna.

As quite a few of you may know, Gianna has been in my care since she was two.

Gianna has been accepted to Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Our cover photo is the first day we visited the school that she immediately fell in love with for her studies. Gianna has committed to Eckerd and will be majoring in Marine Science with a concentration on Marine Biology. She will be taking a minor in film, so as to also be able to photograph under the ocean.

Gianna has worked extremely hard to get to this point. She has received numerous merit awards from Eckerd and is still applying for scholarships.

Gianna will also be working on campus.

In order for her to be able to concentrate on her freshman year without a financial worry and not work multiple jobs, I'm starting this fund to raise money for everyday expenses that may arise and for her to have an emergency fund.
