We never thought we would be writing this, but our little 2-year-old French Bulldog, Gia, needs your help.

Anyone who knows Gia knows how much love and light she brings into every room. On your worst day, she’s the dog who finds a way to put a smile on your face. She is goofy, sweet, sensitive, and truly the heart of our home.

A few days ago, Gia suddenly woke up unable to properly use her back legs. What we hoped was something minor quickly turned into a nightmare. After countless emergency visits, tests, X-rays, medications, and finally an MRI, we learned that she needs emergency spinal surgery to have a chance at walking again and preventing permanent paralysis.

As many pet owners know, these situations happen fast, emotionally and financially. While we are doing everything we can to take care of Gia and will make sure she gets the treatment she needs, the costs of the MRI, emergency visits, surgery, and recovery care add up quickly, and any support would make a meaningful difference. We don’t expect help, but we truly appreciate anything, even a share, as it helps us give Gia the best chance at a full recovery.

Gia has given us so much love, joy, and comfort every single day. Now she needs us and her community to lift her up.
