Help Ghulam Dastagir Recover from a Devastating Brain Stroke

Dear friends, family, and compassionate supporters,

We are reaching out today to ask for your kindness and generosity for our dear friend, Ghulam Dastagir, a 42-year-old father of two beautiful daughters. Ghulam, the sole breadwinner for his small family, tragically suffered a severe brain stroke and was found unconscious at his home. He was rushed to the hospital, where doctors diagnosed him with a "Large Right Capsulo-Ganglionic Bleed with Midline Shift."

This is an extremely serious condition, and Ghulam’s life was hanging in the balance. On 1st August 2024, he underwent an emergency surgical decompression procedure to relieve the pressure on his brain. He was placed on a ventilator and had to undergo cardiac evaluations, gastroenterology consultations, and pulmonology consultations due to complications from the stroke. On 9th August 2024, Ghulam had a tracheostomy to assist with long-term ventilatory support, further complicating his condition.

Ghulam has been directed to a rehabilitation center where he will continue to fight to regain his strength—for himself, and most importantly, for his daughters. As the sole provider for his family, his absence is devastating, both emotionally and financially.

We are humbly asking for your help to ease the immense burden of Ghulam’s rehabilitation bills, as well as the ongoing support for his daughters' school tuition fees.
