This is incredibly hard for me to write, but I’m asking for help for my dog, Ghost. He isn’t just a pet to me — he’s my kid. He’s my constant companion, my comfort, and my reason to keep going when everything else feels overwhelming.

Over the past week alone, I’ve spent over $1,000 on veterinary care trying to get answers. So far, Ghost has had blood work and X-rays, and he is currently on steroids twice a day while we try to stabilize him. Despite this, his condition has worsened. He is completely unable to ambulate and cannot move his back end at all.

At this point, Ghost needs to see a specialist, and the estimated cost is $3,000–$5,000, not including additional treatment or medications. I want to do everything possible for him, but I simply cannot afford this on my own.

I was already struggling with bills and housing instability before this happened, and this situation has completely broken me. I’m doing everything I can just to stay afloat, and now I’m faced with the possibility of not being able to get my dog the care he needs.
