Ghost is my 6-month-old puppy who was found abandoned and injured on the side of the road. A trip to the vet showed Ghost was microchipped (yay!) however when we contacted the owners they said they did not want him back. This left us with two options, take him to a rescue or keep him ourselves. Finding him abandoned once, we did not want to be the second family to leave him. So we chose to keep him and have his injury checked out.

Unfortunately the X-rays showed he had suffered a serious injury (believed to have occurred several weeks prior) and is now in urgent need of femur surgery. Without this operation, his bones will continue to grow abnormally and the muscles in his leg will deteriorate, which will severely limit his ability to move and play like a normal puppy and to be able to live a normal life.

The funds raised will go directly toward covering part of the cost of Ghost’s necessary femur surgery. This surgery is essential for Ghost to have a chance at a happy, healthy life where he can run, play, and experience all the joys that every puppy deserves.
