My name is Cassie and I'm here to hopefully pull together some donations for our ex feral, Ghost.

Ghost is about two years old, and spent most of that time being feral outside after someone left him nearby the February before last. He officially started sleeping in last November and is now a fully inside member of our household.

The problem? He appears to have a little bit of kitty skin cancer on one of his ears (which is unfortunately common with white cats) so he recently had his first vet appointment, well, aside from his TNR (trap neuter release) trip last year. He has need of a full dental plus a biopsy for his ear and unfortunately I need some help covering that.

The initial estimate for his next appointment is about $800 but I'm not certain what it will be or what will be needed afterwards. Anything raised over the final bill will be used for more cat care, between Ghost and his buddies here (Petyr & Patton) anything would be a help right now.

(I'll get some more pictures up soon, I just ran into the fact that all their images get cropped to a horizontal rectangle and I was working with squares for some reason...)

8/18/25 I want to pop in and post a Thank You to the three donors thus far, from us and Ghost!

His appointment is this Thursday and I'm very nervous about the whole thing... but thank you berry much to you three for being the first <3

8/21/25 I should have added this yesterday, apologies. The vet office contacted me yesterday afternoon to reschedule the drop off/biopsy/dental to next Tuesday.

More time to worry but also more time for the fundraising, so that's something!

Fiddled with a cute picture of him I took yesterday and will be posting it around (IG/FB/etc) sometime today. I was going to include it right now here but it doesn't fit the ratio for this...

We're at $582 right now thanks to a couple donations yesterday!

I'm aiming to post a couple days of thank-yous after this.

~ Last night a friend of mine in my Discord community (based around a dragon game website I love... shoutout to everyone in Lounge! And shoutout to Flight Rising!) popped up and offered to do art for members of my Discord community as thank-yous for donating, $25 donation gets them a kinda colored kinda experimental (not all exactly the same style) head shot art. They even doodled Ghost so I could make a graphic for sharing about it in my server, I just made this one to show you the doodle (but I added info to it)

I think it's pretty great!

Back on topic! Very nervous about his day on Tuesday for the new vet excursion... He's getting dropped off fairly early in the morning and will be there all day, if not overnight. Depending on what the vet says.
