Help Celebrate Logan’s Victory & Honor Our Hero’s

The moment we’ve all been waiting for is almost here—Logan is about to “ring the bell” and celebrate the end of his treatment! This milestone marks a victorious end to a challenging journey filled with hope, strength, and the incredible support from all of you.

 As we prepare for this joyous occasion, I am reaching out once more to rally our amazing community. I want to throw the biggest celebration party for Logan, a party that reflects the bravery and resilience he has shown throughout his treatment. This celebration isn’t just for Logan—it’s also to honor the incredible nurses and staff at the hospital who have become like family to us. Their unwavering dedication and care have made this journey bearable, and I want to give them something special to remember Logan by. 

 However, I need your help. I want to make this day unforgettable, but I'm currently facing financial challenges that make it difficult to cover the costs on my own. I’m hoping to raise funds to:  

Organize a celebration party for Logan with decorations, food, and activities that he loves. 

Provide a special thank-you gift for the nurses and hospital staff to show our deep appreciation for their hard work and kindness. 

Create a memory book or video montage of Logan’s journey to share with everyone who has supported us along the way.

As some of you may already be aware, our family's entire world was turned upside down on Monday. When my husband and I rushed Logan Lee to the children's hospital's emergency room in Augusta, we were expecting to receive a prescription for antibiotics and be sent back home. Little did we know, we were completely unprepared for the shocking news delivered by the doctors. In a matter of minutes, our carefree 6th-grade son transformed into a young warrior battling cancer and fighting for his life.

The medical team suspected leukemia and informed us that they needed to admit him for a bone marrow biopsy to confirm their initial findings from the blood work. On Tuesday morning, the official diagnosis came in, and it was not just any leukemia – Logan was diagnosed with a rare form of the disease called APML. Immediate treatment was essential. He went from never needing medication to taking two different chemotherapy medications and a dozen other drugs to prevent infections and manage chemo-related side effects. Since Monday, Logan has been through surgeries, echocardiograms, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds of his lymph nodes, pic line placement, and countless blood tests. He receives oral chemotherapy twice a day and a daily "nanobot juice" through the pic line. Despite all the challenges, he has shown remarkable determination and unwavering focus on conquering this battle. I haven't left his side, and his stepdad has been by his side every day, only briefly leaving to care for our puppy and bring some comfort from home.

One of the things we need more than anything right now is your prayers. Even if you are unable to provide financial assistance, we humbly request that you say a prayer for our beloved Logan and share this message with others. The doctors have informed us that we'll be here for at least a month, and it could stretch to as long as 70 days.
