Help the Ghale Family Support Flash Flood Victims in Rasuwa, Nepal

Our family has lost loved ones. Entire communities have been devastated. Survivors are facing unimaginable grief and hardship. We are asking for your help.

On August 26, 2026, a catastrophic flash flood struck the Nepal-Tibet border region, causing devastating loss of life and widespread destruction. As of August 29, authorities and news reports have confirmed at least 676 deaths across Nepal and Tibet, with nearly 3,000 people still missing. Search and rescue operations are continuing, and these numbers may change as authorities recover victims and account for those who remain missing.

For our family, this disaster is deeply personal.

Timure, and Ghattekhola in Rasuwa are our home. They are places where our parents were born and raised and where generations of our family have lived, built homes, created memories, and raised their families.

Our own Ghale Family has suffered devastating losses in this disaster. We have lost close family members, relatives, and loved ones. Only a few have survived. The pain of losing people we love while watching our home communities being destroyed is beyond words.

Entire homes and communities have been swept away. Families have lost parents, children, relatives, homes, livelihoods, and everything they once depended on. Survivors are now facing the difficult days ahead with urgent needs for food, medicine, clothing, shelter, and emotional support.

We cannot undo what happened. But we can help those who survived.

We are raising funds to provide direct assistance to families and individuals affected by this disaster, particularly in Rasuwa.

Funds raised will be used for:

* Food, water, and essential supplies

* Medical supplies and emergency medical needs

* Clothing and basic necessities

* Temporary shelter and housing assistance

* Educational support for children who have lost parents or family members

* Direct emergency assistance to families who have lost their homes and livelihoods

This is a personal fundraiser organized by the Ghale Family, not a nonprofit organization. Funds will be received by the organizer and distributed directly for relief efforts. Our family members in Nepal will personally assist in identifying families with urgent needs and distributing aid, especially in Timure and Ghattekhola.

We will do our best to keep donors informed about how the funds are being used and the families and communities being helped.
