Help Gezel in Her Time of Need

The Carleton Village school community is shaken by the sad news of the passing of Kirk Hudson, husband of our Nutrition Coordinator, Gezel Bourne.

Kirk was a friendly fixture at our school fun fair BBQ for many years, and contributed many hours to our school’s nutrition program. He will be greatly missed.

The heartbreak and shock that Gezel, Kayla and Kevon and their extended family are experiencing is beyond words. The financial strain is overwhelming, and an additional weight that Gezel simply cannot carry on her own as she struggles through her grief and loss.

Our Carleton Village school council is reaching out to the community for support for the family during this incredibly challenging time. Funds donated will help send Kirk off in a dignified manner, and assist our beloved Gezel and her family with living expenses while they grieve his passing.

Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference to help Gezel cover the expenses associated with this process.

Gezel has sacrificed so much for our school community, so we ask for your help for this family that means so much to us to find the strength to cope with this profound loss. Gezel is eternally grateful for your help during this dark and difficult time.
