We are creating this page for my dear friend and brother, Getachew (Mamo). Getachew (Mamo) is a young married man with 3 kids, full of life and kindness, who has just received a diagnosis that has turned him and his family's world upside down.

Recently, after undergoing tests for severe stomach issues, Getachew (Mamo) was diagnosed with Diffuse Large B-cell Lymphoma (DLBCL), an aggressive form of cancer found in his stomach. that requires immediate and intensive treatment.

The Diagnosis:

The pathology report confirmed it is a high-grade, aggressive lymphoma with a proliferation rate of 90%. This means the cancer cells are multiplying very rapidly. While the diagnosis is scary, his doctors are moving quickly and are optimistic that this type of cancer is very treatable with modern chemotherapy protocols.
