Hi everyone,

My name is Geanina and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart but also with hope. I’m creating this fundraiser for my dear friend Geta, who is currently fighting a very difficult battle against ovarian cancer.

Our Story

My dear friend Geta is one of the kindest, most creative, and warm-hearted people you could ever meet.

She has always been someone who brings light into the lives of others—through her kindness, her smile, and her beautiful handmade crochet creations brightening everyones lives through her art.

Geta has a deep love for Romanian and Turkish culture, for nature, for animals even for the smalles moth

Whether she’s spending time outdoors or crafting something with her hands, she pours love into everything she does. Many people have been touched by her generosity and her ability to make others feel seen and cared for.

Today, Geta is facing the biggest challenge of her life.

DIAGNOSIS

Geta has been diagnosed with Advanced ovarian cancer (stage III) She is currently living in Romania and undergoing chemotherapy and fighting with incredible courage every single day.

Despite the physical and emotional toll, she continues to show strength, dignity,faith and hope. My Xena as I say The Warrior Princess !

⚠️ Why We Need Help

While Geta is receiving treatment in Romania, the reality is that the healthcare system does not fully cover all necessary treatments and related costs.

There are significant expenses that are not fully funded, including:

Essential medications and therapies

Ongoing chemotherapy support treatments

Travel to and from hospital appointments

Additional medical tests and procedures

Nutritional support and recovery care

Daily living expenses during treatment

These costs are overwhelming, and no one should have to face this battle alone.

Even during difficult times, Geta continues to inspire. Her passion for crochet is more than a hobby—it’s her way of spreading comfort and beauty into the world. Many of her handmade pieces carry warmth, love, and hope.

Now, it’s our turn to give back to her.

Geta is strong. She is brave. She is not giving up.

But she needs support—financially, emotionally, and spiritually—to continue this fight and access the care she deserves hoping I can help as much as I can to achieve this.
