Elite Baseball Training is sending its 12U Slager team to the Cooperstown All Star Village in July of 2022, after the boys earned this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and we're looking for help to get them there.  The team will spend one week in Oneonta, NY, near the Baseball Hall of Fame museum, competing against 80 teams from around the country.  The team will play a minimum of 7 games with the champion being determined by a series of single-elimination games toward the end of the week.  For those of you that are not steeped in the world of competitive youth baseball, this is a right of passage for players during their 12U (12 and under) season and it's billed as an amazing experience for all in attendance.

 

The money raised via this GoFundMe and the team's other fundraisers will go toward Cooperstown fees for team room and board, uniforms, equipment and a credentialed umpire that works every game during the week.  The families of each player are responsible for their own travel, accommodations and meals for the duration of stay.

 

Elite Baseball Training Chicago is a program founded by Justin Stone that works with advanced baseball and softball players to develop their skills in a unique training environment.  Elite teams compete in top Chicagoland leagues and Midwest tournaments to hone their craft with the goal of graduating players to top high school and collegiate programs around the country.
