Vocalight, Dayton’s first professional a cappella group, was founded in the summer of 2016. The vocal group is comprised of nationally lauded singers from Fairmont High School’s Eleventh Hour and Centerville High School’s ICHSA 2016 Champion Forte. Members of the group have performed with Pentatonix and recorded on their self-titled original album. They have performed in New York City at Town Hall and the Beacon Theatre. Recently, Vocalight has returned from a week-long tour in Wisconsin that culminated in opening for Grammy award winning artist, Daya.
We've set our fundraising goal at $4,800. It is very expensive for each member of the group to travel to NYC and perform at Carnegie Hall. We will need to pay for transportation, food, hotels, etc. If we could raise the money by September 1st that would help us tremendously in our planning! We can use as much help cover the costs for each member as we can get!
Thanks so much to everyone for even considering supporting us! We can't wait to get to NYC and perform in Carnegie Hall! Our goal as a group is to do this for a living and this event is a huge step in the right direction of achieving our dreams! Your support would help get us that much closer to our dreams and mean the absolute world to us!
