Help get us back on the Road and moving forward

This is hard…I wish I could tell you that all we need is a rebuilt transmission and we would be on our merry way, and yes we absolutely need to replace that transmission, but it’s been enormous and never ending, the energy and time and money and resources expended everyday to care for my special needs son, Michael, and keep us moving forward. I have a lot to be grateful for, I’ve been blessed in many, many ways and have, for the most part “done my own thing”. But we’ve hit a rough patch, not the first, probably not the last, and this is our present circumstance. We left Florida on a road trip that has been mired in mechanical problems from the beginning, where after each repair I was certain we were on our way without a care in the world, but I was wrong. Now, we’re stuck (in a safe spot) in rural Connecticut and AAMCO won’t finance a rebuilt transmission for me. Anything above and beyond our goal of replacing the transmission will go towards our other pressing needs and improvements and our continued path discovering our “place in the Sun”.
