For the past four years Tommy has been going through tons of medical issues. During his sickness he has fought to continue to live life as normal as possible. Between his granddaughters basket ball games, and his daughter and great nephews races; Tommy loves to keep busy! Unfortunately over the past few weeks all of this has been taken away; as Tommy was moved into a live in rehabilitation home. This all began 3 weeks ago when Tommy was sick, and unable to make it to dialysis. His nurse called his sister (Lori) and said Tommy needed to get to the hospital as he had missed his appointments for over a week. Lori rushed to his home and got him to the hospital; where doctors were shocked he was alive. Many of his levels were dangerous and he was admitted into ICU. He also tested positive for COVID-19. After 2 weeks he was being discharged, but fell out of his bed and was immediately admitted back into the hospital. He is now at an assisted living home, but is not safe. Due to short staffing; when Tommy needs help it’s taking too long to get to him (which has led to more falls). A man was shot outside of Tommy’s window last night, and we need to get him out of there! The family is ready to take care 24 hour care of Tommy; as we rally to get him back to full strength, but we need your help. For Tommy to be released we must have modifications done ASAP to his daughters home to ensure its safe for his medical needs. A few of the items/modifications consist of a chair lift, hospital bed, shower modification, and necessary medical equipment. He has a huge job on June 4th to walk his only daughter, Brittany down the aisle. Please help us bring Tommy home! Any amount is appreciated. All donations will be used for only Tommy’s needs. Outside of donations the family and Tommy ask you for prayers.
