Hi, my name is Joyce Ancell, and I am raising funds for my friend and neighbor, Tim Beck, who has been suffering the combined physical and financial effects of a kidney stone and Covid-19 with double pneumonia since early December 2021. He spent sixteen days in the hospital and is now at home but must be on continuous oxygen to breathe and is still dealing with the Covid pneumonia doctors say could take weeks to months to clear up. The funds collected will be used to pay medical bills and support his family until he can return to work.
Tim has operated a small auto repair shop in the Richardson/Garland area since he opened it in 1993 and now co-owns it with his son, Daniel. It's a family-owned business that the two men run with their wives, Tammy and Lana.
Tim and his wife Tammy are covered for major out-of-pocket expenses through Christian Health Care Services and the Covid-related care covered by the government's relief program. They have been informed that neither will pay for other Covid expenses, including two ambulance rides and follow-up visits with related specialists.
Because Tim still has pneumonia in his lungs, the doctors cannot evaluate their condition until the disease is gone. His doctor advised that pulmonary rehabilitation treatments may be in store but are not covered by either insurance program.
Tim's inability to work has impacted his finances as the medical bills accumulate. Everyday expenses are ongoing as they would be for anyone.
Now is when Tim and his family need support from family and friends. If you would donate whatever amount you can to offset the costs of medical and daily expenses, your help will be greatly appreciated. We might fund the pulmonary rehab treatments the doctor recommended with sufficient donations.
