Help Get Tilley's Makita Back, Mac!

Hi team,

Last Saturday I woke up to find my beloved ute 'Ruby Red' with all my tools inside had been stolen from South Hobart. Fortunately my car is covered by insurance, but this will not cover the lost contents - totalling over $6000 of equipment gone.

This has been a huge blow as a first year apprentice carpenter. Aside from the financial loss, these tools are my livelihood and such a symbol of pride, independence and capability for me as an young woman and person in the construction industry. I love them and my ute, now they are gone I must begin again from scratch.

Having gear stolen is a lesson that I think every tradie has known someone to experience, or experienced themselves, it bloody sucks. Already I have been surrounded by people who love me and will support me through this. This fundraiser is an opportunity for anyone who would like to make a practical donation towards helping me get my gear back, even a small amount goes a huge way.

I am so lucky to have this community and the life I do, despite the blow it's an opportunity to push through the challenge and grow better, stronger and more savvy from the experience.
